I know some of you may also be wondering how I did that back fence panel therefore, here's the deets: I scored a piece of cardstock at equal points. I then swiped the full ink pads Doe and Gathered Twigs over it. When dried, I then brushed PF white pigment ink over the browns just lightly. When all dried, I then just brushed a bit of Gathered Twigs on the corners. It turned out really effective. So go get yourself over to Instagram @cherylespiecreates and join in the hop! Pinkfresh Studio will pull the winners & post them on  December 18, 2024  on their  GIVEAWAY PAGE .  Remember to check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.   My Design- Thinking of You Press Plate There's something so serene about a simple beautiful stemmed flower, just like this Thinking of You floral suite. I used the press plate for my design and foiled it in rose gold. Using the cocordinating stencils I ink blended very simply Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll and just a touch of Emerald City. The Thinking of You press plate also includes 'With Sympathy' sentiment so, I also hot foiled this is rose gold. One of my favourite Essentials die sets that was released last month is the Nested Recatangles; Postage Edge . I used this set to cut a back panel, then cut a small panel in white and pink cardstock. I offset the pink to bring in the colour from the florals. I foiled two stems but decided to only use one and centre it diagonal across the small die cut panel, adding the sentiment over the top. To finish, I added to Ice Clear Drops . just to accent the design. Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! Hi crafty friends Today, I want to share a card that I think turned out so pretty. I am a big fan of the Twist Pattern Press Plate & Die from Pinkfresh Studio. I love it for background dimension. It kind of reminds me of a garden trellis, so I used that concept for my design. First, I hot foiled in copper the Twist Pattern Press Plate . Then, I cut it out with the coordinating dies . I cut a of couple extras for layering up. I did snip the Twisted Pattern down so I could centre it on the cardstock panel.  I stamped the  Be Fearless Stamp set  and used the coordinating stencils to colour in the florals with Pinkfresh Studio Dye Inks: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious, Doe, Warm Buff, Gathered Twigs, Sage and Spruce Tips. After die cutting the coloured florals I placed them to the bottom left and the top right of the Twist Pattern background.  That beautiful sentiment is from the Here For You Sentiments . After stamping it, I matted some black cardstock to it, slightly offset. This is really helpful when you want to have the sentiment stand out a little from a busy background. To finish, I added some Leaf Glitter Drops and, white gel pen to highlight some areas of the florals. The texture and colours of this card really helps it feel luxurious. Hi crafty friends! Today, I thought I would share two festive wreath cards because I am pretty sure if you are making cards just now, you could possibly be making seasonal ones. It's always good to get some inspiration don't you think? For my cards I used the Deck The Halls Stamp Set . I know there's a washi tape for this set but I thought it would be good to demonstrate how you could use the stamp set and choose your own colours. With the coordinating stencils , I ink blended the wreaths a little differently from each other. The one on the left I used Eucalypus, Olive, Lush Forest & Mint . For the one on the right I used Turquoise, Atlantis, Meadow & Evergreen. I coloured the berries on both cards in Mulberry Blush.   For the backgrounds I ink blended some green cardstock with Eucalyptus around the edges, which gave the panels some depth. Then, I ran them through my die cut machine with the Nested Rectangles : Diagonal Stitch Dies . I also run some white cardstock with these dies as I knew I wanted to add a white panel at the top for the big sentiments.  Using the Fancy Edgers Dies , I chose one to edge off the white panels then added these white panels to the green panels, that I had already prepared. Before adding the wreaths, I first stamped the sentiments. I popped the panel into my MISTI, and stamped the sentiments in Pinkfresh Studio's Detail Black Ink . All three sentiments are from the Festive Foliage Stamp Set.   Then, I popped each wreath onto each prepared card panel using foam squares.  The double bow for each wreath was created by die cutting four bows from the Wrap Around Elements , gluing two together for each card. The bows were cut out of the Ruby Glitter Cardstock .  To finish, I added the extra die cuts under the bows then added some Ruby Glitter Drops for that extra bling. So there you go, two Christmas cards to get you inspired! Hi crafty friends As a monthly guest designer for Gina K Designs I am fortunate enough to be sent a stamp and die set each monthto play with. I never know which set from the new release that it will be but, its always fun to see what I get! This month I received the Welcome Autumn Stamp & Die Set. There's some great images including the beautiful tree, the truck and those amazing pumpkins. For the truck card, I coloured all the images with Copics and added the leaves and a pumpkin to the back truck bed. To break up the background, I brought in the spruce green from the pumkin stalks and ink blended one of the Decorative Double Stencils. For the pumkin card, I coloured those magnificent pumkins with a combination of Copic markers. I added the die cut images to a glossy piece of cardstock that I had splattered with gold ink. For some extra interest I added some leaves, and usied a white gel pen for highlights. And for my tree card, I used my ink cubes to stamp the tree images in two tone colors as trees change in the autumn. I stamped two images at the back and for my third tree, I die cut it then, I matted it on champagne gold cardstock slighlty offset. One thing I want to draw your attention to, take a look at my pumkins on all the cards. You wil see i have coloured them in two different ways. This was to show that you have options, and both ways colouring effects look great so choose what works for you! Until next time friends...

Hi friends! I have some cuties to share with you today. When I attended the Pinkfresh Studio’s Create & Connect event in October, Simon Says Stamp was their guest company. Their stamp set was called Polar Christmas. I didn’t get a chance to use it at the time and since then SSS released the coordinating die, which I ordered. I decided to make a themed set of cards using the stamp set because all of the little images are so cute I couldnt leave one out, hahaha. I coloured the little guys with my Copic markers. And, I used some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxie Ink for the backgrounds, splattered with gold. Hopefully they will make you smile and give you some cutie inspiration this season! Until next time..

Hi crafty friends! Thanks of stopping by today. The festive season is creeping up fast so, I was in the mood to design a Merry & Bright Christmas card to give you some festive inspiration.  I am a bit of a traditional gal when it comes to festive cards. There's something about greens and reds that just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Before ink bleeding, I cut some masking tape to the shape of a snow bank which I then placed at the bottom part of an A2 panel. Pinkfresh Studio have such a fantastic buffet of greens and I used four of them to create this bold background. Sage, Eucalyptus, Spruce Tips and Lush Forest . I cut the panel with the versatile Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die and repeated this for an extra piece of white cardstock that, I had also cut in the shape of a second snow bank.  On the Pinkfresh Studio design team we have the talented Isha Gupta. Isha designed this beautiful stamp set called Festive Foliage Tree . The image is so elegant and I adore the fonted sentiments! With the Festive Foliage Tree comes coordinating stencils, press plate and dies -everything you need for whatever technique. I chose to lightly stamp the tree in Misty Coast and then use the coordinating stencils to ink blend- Fresh Pear, Olive, Citron, Spanish Moss, Passion Fruit and Candy Apple.  Then, I placed the ink blended tree back into my MISTI and re-stamped in Detailed Black Ink . With the same black ink to stamp two sentiments. Both of which are in the same stamp set. I layered up the snow banks and added the die cut tree between them then, I added some white splatter for snow and some  Metallic Gold Pearls  on the tree. Remember to check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.   My Designs- Fancy Edgers As I love creating pretty cards, I am thrilled Pinkfresh Studio have released the Fancy Edgers dies this month. It's nice to have a fancy edge on my cards especially because Pinkfresh Studio are well known for releasing floral stamped images. For both my cards I stamped the Beautiful Branch Stamp Set then used the coordinationg stencils to colour them. For the pink, I used Ballet Slipper and Sparkling Rose. For the lilac one, I use Sheer Freesia and Hydrangea. All the leaves are in Mint. I cut two A2 panels out of white cardstock, die cut the ends using two different edger dies then, splattered both lightly in silver. I matted these panels onto cooordianting cardstock panels that would compliment the floral colours. I stamped and die cut two of the sentiments from the same Beautiful Branch Stamp set then attached them overlapping the florals. To finish, I added the co-ordinating Glitter Drops. Hi crafty friends Glad to see you stopping by today! When I saw the newly released Blooming Arch set , from Pinkfresh Studio I immediately knew I had to make a box card with it. I wanted to create the illusion of being able to walk through the arch and give it some depth to achieve this.  I cut an A2 back panel using the Hearts & Stars Coverplate Die and attached this to an A2 card base. Setting this aside, I heat embossed the Blooming Arch Press Plate in gold foil. Using the co-ordinating stencils, I coloured the arch and florals in Mulberry Blush, Aquamarine, Evergreen and Gathered Twigs . Before I attached to the base that was already prepared. I die cut some background leaves using the Curvy Leaves Die . This pulled the colour from the florals. After die cutting the arch, I then proceeded to cut and score the corrugated cardstock that I would attach to each side of the arch. Each corrugated panel is 5" x 1 1/2" scored at 1/2" and 1"  After gluing these panels to both the arch and the prepared card base, I added some hot foiled Small Butterflies . Then, I stamped that fab sentiment in Detailed Black attaching it to the back panel. Finished with some Gold Metallic Pearls and this box card is complete. t has fantastic dimension! It fits perfectly in an A2 Acetate box, which I purchased from Amazon many years ago and had never remembered to use! If I were to give to this box card to someone, I would wrap the acetate box in gift wrap for the recipient.  Are you inspired? Are you going to give this a try? I sure hope so. Hi crafty friends! Today, I thought I would share a set of little notecards I designed instead of a card. Sometimes, just to give a little notecard to someone can cheer up their day. It's a token of love, gratitude or affirmation and can give a lot of joy to the recipient.  For my cards, I pulled out the Kindness in Bloom Stamp Set by Pinkfresh Studio. I liked that it has small single blooms in the set so I could use one on each of my notecards.  First I hot foiled in gold, two sets of images using the Kindness in Bloom Press Plate . Then, using the coordinating stencils I ink blended the images in Fresh Pear, Olive, Sunkissed, Mango Sorbet and Passion Fruit.  After die cutting them out, I set them aside.  I had some mini envelopes in my stash that I am sure have been there for 2 years! The envelopes measured 2.5" x 3.5". Therefore, I cut four pieces of white cardstock each 5" x 3 1/4" scored at 2 1/2" plus, 4 white front panels that were 2 1/4" x 3 1/8" to frame the front white panels I also cut some kraft cardstock just a teeny bit bigger. On each of the white front panels I stamped the sentiment 'Just A Note' that's in the Kindness in Bloom stamp set. This was easily done by lining up one of the panels then leaving the stamp in the MISTI and just replacing the panel for each stamp.  Then, I repeated this process for the sentiment inside the cards 'Thank you For All You Do'. After layering up the panels on top if the note card bases I added one floral image to each card with foam squares. To finish I just added just three little Champagne Glitter Drops .
