- Love You Pretty with Pigment Craft Co
Good morning crafty friends I am sharing this very pinky card with you today. That incredible background was achieved using the Latte Heart Background Cover Plate by Pigment Craft Co. This company is Canadian! That is quite lovely for me because while I will always support any craft company the best way I can, it is nice not to have a long wait to receive an order and pay silly delivery prices, with the risk of import charges too. Pigment Craft Co. is new and my observation of their designs are elegant and sophisticated...just like me! Hahahahaha. Well, I like pretty, elegant designs when I create (with some cutesy thrown in), and I enjoy using PCC goodies, so it's a win/win! I have downloaded a video on my You Tube channel, downloaded an IGTV video and created a reel on my Instagram! Phew! I don't have time to do all three all of the time each time I create a card, but I wanted to give Pigment Craft Co. a big shout out to show my support. Below there is the link to my You Tube video,
- You Deserve it All with Pinkfresh Studio
Hi friends! I'm back with another video on You Tube and Instagram showing how I created this card. During the video intro, I will also show you a card with a similar background but in shades of green. A pic of this is below. It's funny, one day I just got the urge to swipe a full ink pad across some cardstock, and then ended up doing three shades, and I liked the results. What I forgot to mention in the video, is the splatters. After I had created those backgrounds, I then used some watered down white paint and gave them a good splatter. It did add an extra something, something actually so it was a good move. The floral stamp set used for the pink card is called Thankful For Friends by Pinkfresh Studio. The floral stamp set used on the green card is called Sweet Friend Floral also by Pinkfresh Studio. If you fancy checking out my video, click above, if you want to see some further images for inspiration scroll down. I hope my idea for these backgrounds get you inspired, give it a go i found it quite liberating! Hahaha!
- Christmas Gift Card & Matching Tags
Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! Today's post is a little different regarding my creations. I ordered the Round Nesting Tags by Pigment Craft Co because I wanted to create a gift card and matching tags with Pigments new festive release. I am one of Pigments Guest Designers for the month of October, so this is part of that. You have already seen four cards earlier in the month and I still have other creations to share with you before the month is out! I die cut the tags in different sizes and used a circle die and cut out some soft contrast cardstock. I then used the Bitty Dot Stencil to add the background dots. You will see the background leaf, thats taken from the Winter Sprig Stamp & Die Set. I heat embossed the JOY in silver and die cut it out. This useful sentiment is from the Star Wreath Stamp Set. I used the small berries and holly from the FaLaLaLa set to accent the sentiment. To finish, I added the With Love from Vintage Merry Christmas Stamp Set. I know I will be using these dies again as they are one of those die sets that I would class as essentials in my stash. I am a busy beaver this Thanksgiving weekend and really going into full Christmas card making mode!! I can not wait to share with you what I have been up to!
- FaLaLaLa Slimline Card with Pigment Craft Co
Hi crafty friends, Thanks so much for popping in. I am thrilled to be joining Pigment Craft Co for the month of October as a guest designer, and help showcase this delightful and innovative festive release. Today, I will be using a combination of products including the FaLaLaLa Stamp Set, the Winter Sprigs Stamp & Die Set and a sentiment from the Vintage Merry Christmas Stamp Set. All these beauties will be brought together to create a FaLaLaLa Festive Slimline card. One of the reasons I chose this design was to demonstrate how your small die cuts can be utilized to create a dimensional background for your card, whatever size card base you use. I die cut several sprigs from the Winter Sprigs Die set. With these, I then glued sprig die cuts randomly over the card base. Following this, it was time to stamp with the lush inks by Pigment Craft Co. Using the colours Sage & Terracotta, I stamped three sets of leaves and berries and adhered them on top of the background. For the FaLaLaLa sentiment I heat embossed this in gold, and added it to the card. I added the ‘With Love’ below to bring in a more personal touch. To finish, gold bling was a must! It’s a great finishing touch to bring the whole card colour combos together. As an added extra, I filmed the process and I have added it to my You Tube channel. Check out the link below. I hope I have inspired you to create with this beautiful release. Until next time…bye for now!
- Poinsettia Washi Tape from Pinkfresh Studio
Hi crafty friends, Pinkfresh Studio do florals so well, they also do stencils really well, they also have the most beautiful washi tapes that are a joy to work with. This Poinsettia washi tape is no exception! It is GORGEOUS!!! I was trying to wait very patiently for my Pinkfresh Studio festive order to arrive, well, not really... It's really challenging for me to see the designers get their goodies first and create such beauty, then I have to wait a number of weeks to get my hands on them. It's not PFS fault, the postage is sooooo slooooow these days which appears to be down to some staffing capacities within the postal supply chain. The world is a little weird just now that's for sure, and it makes me sad. These cards that I created make me very happy though, as does the festive time of year 😁 As well as the washi goodness, two out of the three cards also came together using some hot foiling plates. This included the big sentiments and the diagonal striped background. I was so proud of creating a slimline card that depicted a door juts by using some Pinkfresh dies in my stash. The wreaths that are in a few of the was his can be used all year round with this design too! Well, I hope you enjoy your weekend, whatever you may have planned. I will be creating as I usually do as to me, cardmaking is such a wonderful part of my life. 💗
- Gnome Peeking from Simon Says Stamp
Hi friends! Seriously, have you seen this most adorable gnome stamp set by Simon Says Stamp? Just in time for Christmas stamping! It's called Gnome Peeking....hahahaha...I fell in love with this one. Of course, you know by now I am a big fan of gnomes, so this set was obviously going to be added to my gnome stash. You will see I added some blending to the backdrop and did a bit of snow splattering. The majority of the the work was really copic colouring. I did add more splatters after I finished colouring as I thought it would look a bit odd if there was no snow falling on the image. Can you see I also added a little pom pom for his hat?? Simon Says Stamp do great ready made sentiment strips so I die cut around a festive one to finish this card off. What a joy it was to make this one and I wonder who I love enough to part with it? hahaha.. So, have you started your Christmas card frenzy yet? I love this time of year and I love making Christmas cards. I have to get on it quickly though as I have a few to make that I need to post to the UK, and I think I have to get them posted by the end of November if I want my friends and family to receive their card in time. Well, until next time!

- Joyful Bouquet with Pinkfresh Studio
Hi friends! I posted this card all the wrong way around. What I mean by that is, I posted it on Instagram, but then realized I had also filmed myself making it for my You Tube channel! So, I look like I am double posting, not really my intentions, but probably gives an insight into my brain crazy 😂 Today's You Tube video and chat is all about this card that I created for a dear colleague who is retiring this month. I had to get it made and get it out to the team so it could get signed. I think 'my flow' was out of whack which may be why I feel a bit out of sink. Hey, ho...at least I have it up on my channel now. This Joyful bouquet is a washi tape by Pinkfresh Studio. I used the matching stencils to do my colouring then die cut the bouquet to use as a focus point. To add an extra something, something I tied some gold thread to give a 3D effect. All was placed on a slimline card and I added the scalloped accent and bling! I loved this sentiment, as I wanted to add that positive spin for a special person who should enjoy her well deserved retirement. I have to say, I am pretty proud of it and how it turned out. Though to be fare, Pinkfresh Studio have brilliant products, so its not that hard to create with them! The link to my YT video is below...I hope you enjoy it.
