Spellbinders Cardmaker II Release-New Start

Hi crafty friends,

On November 9th, Spellbinders launched a new collection called Cardmaker II Stamp Collection. It’s a versatile release of stamps with a bit of something for everyone. I was invited by the talented Yana Smakula to participate in the release, so of course I was thrilled!

I was quite adventurous and actually made six cards in total, two with each stamp set that I received. I will share all six cards over the next couple of weeks between Instagram and my blog to hopefully get you will be inspired and they will give you some ideas on how you can use the sets.

Today’s post showcases the first two cards using the beautiful stamp set called New Start.

Who doesn’t love a beautiful butterfly set?!

Card #1 shows how you can use embossing powder with the butterfly images to accent a centre piece sentiment.

Card #2 demonstrates a regular slimline card using the stamp as a main focus and accented by some colourful florals.

So which one is your favourite? Two quite different cards, different sizes and different ways to use the same stamp set.
