Ornate Floral Monograms
Happy New Year Pinkfresh Studio friends!!!
I'm back for another term with Pinkfresh Studio. I could not be more pleased to continue with their creative team...I feel honoured to continue my card design journey with them.
My first post for 2024 shares a fun way to use the Floral Square, Floral Round and the Floral Octagon Press Plates all through the year! These press plates were released last month in December. When I saw the Kaitlin Alpha previously released with that amazing font, I knew I wanted to design some monogram cards with these press plate products.
Let's look at how these cards came together.
First, I used the BetterPress LetterPress System that is now available in the Pinkfresh Studio store along with each Floral Press Plate. I used the PFS Detailed Black Ink for the Press Plates as it as I knew I was going to colour the images with my Copic markers. The cardstock is the Porcelain White A2 card panels (regular weight), also available in the store.
I then used the press plates co-ordinating dies to die cut each framed image after colouring them.
I attached each Floral Frame Die Cut onto a panel from the Ornate Banner Die Set leaving room below for the sentiment.
Did you see the brand new Glitter Cardstock that Pinkfresh Studio also released last month? Wow, it's amazing! It die cut the Kaitlin Alpha beautifully.
For my designs I die cut letters in Sliver, Champagne, Rose Gold and Midnight Navy (which is stunning!) as I thought it would be so lovely to send a card with the monogram of the recipients name.
For each of my cards, I decided to add a bannered sentiment so, I pulled out the Basic Banners Celebrate Stamp Set. After die cutting each sentiment with the coordinating die, I then added some of the same Glitter Cardstock that I used for the monogram. This helped tie the colors together.
Eeeeek! I love them ALL!!
So easy to make but really adds a personal touch for the recipient. Koudos to Pinkfresh Studio for their amazing products that can coordinate seamlessly.
As my usual, I have made a reel showing how these beauties came together. Make sure you keep an eye out over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio to see it.
Well, that's it from me for today.
See you next time!
