Belladonna Lillies

Brighten a loved one's day with stunning Belladonna Lilies. These gorgeous summer bloomers produce multiple fragrant flowers on each impressive stalk. In this stamp set, Altenew have brought this exotic plant to paper through a delicately drawn outline image. The flowers have four coloring layers, and the stem has two coloring layers that will add depth and character to this beautiful flower. The Build-A-Flower: Belladonna Lilies special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6" x 8" clear photopolymer stamp set (20 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (1 die).

Let's Look at my Designs

I love the Belladonna Lily illustrations, It really appealed to me and so I wanted to design two quite different cards using the stamp and die set. I used the lilac hues for my first card, interspersed with silver heat embossing. I hope you can see how effective the embossing is especially on the third picture.

For my second card, I wanted a more colourful design. I also didn't stamp the layers this time, but copic coloured them. The stamp set is so beautiful and the detail in the outline stamp is amazing and it stamped so crisp. I loved colouring them. Once coloured, I die cut the finished images but then cut them in pieces so I could frame the cardstock. It has a beautiful effect, but for some reason I avoid doing it..but I have made a decision to try cutting up flowers more often as it can really add options to the card design and it's so creative!

I hope I have inspired you?!

I am having some technical difficulties with the site. The publish button disappears when I start typing. And spell check isn't working either.
